Two different kinds of information exist. Keep them apart.
The Creator+ pass, 120 Robux, has this official description: Unlock larger projects, advanced obstacles and objects in creator mode. That confirms creator mode, projects, obstacles, and objects. It also says the pass is what unlocks the larger and advanced set. It does not list project numbers, a firm, or a career.
Everything numbered below is from players on public videos in early October 2026.
What players are trying to finish
Players talk about projects and also about levels. Comments mention project 1, project 2, project 5, project 9, project 10, and project 15, plus level 5 and level 10. Nobody has published a list that proves project and level are the same counter. A Project 1 video with no commentary is on Video Guides. Viewers asked for projects 1 through 5 and for project 10 because those videos were not in the clip.
Several comments treat 100 percent room coverage as the clear on a project. One player said they reached level 10 at about 94 percent and still did not get the level 10 unlock, and the same thing happened at level 5. The game has not published the percentage formula, so 94 is that player's result, not a threshold you should copy.
Metal
Viewers talk about metal upgrades. One asked for a Project 1 video that used only 32 metal and the parts you get the first time. Another said a clip was less useful because the builder was already maxed out on metal upgrades. Those comments show that metal upgrades exist in conversation around the game. They do not publish a starting amount. Do not treat 32 as the amount a new save holds.
No official currency name or metal price is on the game page. Game passes are the shop entries with real Robux prices.
Four unlock stories, not one rule
| Report | What the player said | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Beat the project | A reply to a missing vaned elbow: it seems like you have to beat it. The same person said they could not beat project 1. | No project number was tied to the elbow. |
| Firm through project 15 | Join or create a firm and play until project 15. No need to beat it. | This answered the vaned elbow. It did not list other parts. |
| Firm rewards, not career | Level 5 and level 10 unlocks come through rewards after making your own firm, not with career. | It does not say what the reward item is. |
| Join a lobby that already has it | The Project 1 uploader said they got the vaned elbow after joining a multiplayer lobby where that project was unlocked. | One account. Not a documented share rule. |
A fifth comment said they had the Y branch and vaned turns before the new update. The comment does not say which update.
Use the in-game progress screen you actually have. If it shows a firm, a career, and a project number, those labels match the words players use. This page cannot tell you which of the four stories your save will follow.
A practical order while the rule is unknown
- Finish the tutorial if you still have it. Leaving has been reported to skip it. See Start a DUCTWORKS session.
- Clear a small project with the parts already in your bar. Record the coverage number the game shows.
- Read the firm and career controls in your own menu before you chase project 15 or a 100 percent replay.
- If a fitting is missing, check whether Creator+ is the gate for that object. The pass text is about larger projects and advanced objects in creator mode, not about a specific elbow.
- Compare notes with the entries for Firm, Career, and Projects.
