What is Pipe?
The official tags include piping. A player wrote that you can put pipes over walls. That report is not a full placement manual. If a pipe will not sit, use the bottom-bar control you actually have and look at the joint.

How do you get Pipe?
Starter building uses pipes or duct sections from the bottom bar. A separate unlock is not documented for the basic pipe.

Build the first short run out of pipes, keep the openings meeting, and add turns only after that run behaves.
